In Appreciation of Our Donors
SIF leverages on Singapore’s strengths and expertise to develop solutions that uplift lives and empower communities. We thank our donors for their vital role in partnering and enabling SIF to catalyse positive change. Their generosity fuels initiatives that drive impactful social programmes, foster cross-cultural understanding, bringing together global changemakers who are dedicated to building a better world.
Our grateful thanks to Dr Ang Poon Liat and Dr Wu Eu Li for their gift to support service-learning opportunities for students from the Institute of Technical Education, polytechnics and local universities.

The Singapore International Foundation (SIF) is deeply grateful to Mr Choo Chiau Beng and Dr Eileen Lim for their visionary commitment to youth development. The Choo-Lim Service-Learning Fund at SIF made possible by them will empower youths not just to learn, but to serve; not only helping students access higher education but also equipping them to give back through meaningful service-learning experiences.
This Fund will enable Singaporean youths to participate in the SIF’s Service-Learning Programme across the region — where they will work alongside communities, develop empathy, gain global exposure, and grow in confidence and leadership. Guided by experienced SIF Singapore International Volunteers (SIVs) and Specialists who generously share their professional expertise, students will learn what it means to create sustainable impact and become future changemakers for Singapore and the world. Ultimately, this fund nurtures the next generation of globally minded volunteers — much like our Singapore International Volunteers (SIVs) who dedicate their time and passion to uplift communities in Southeast Asia, China and India.
For many years, Mr Choo and Dr Lim have been generously supporting students from Singapore’s Institutes of Higher Learning to access quality education and broaden their horizons. The SIF would now like to thank them for this new Fund at the SIF to shape a better, more compassionate world
